Here’s how we’re doing it: 🥘 Portioned food: As you know, the meal (chili con or sin carne) is pre-ordered to prevent food waste. 🌱 Eco-friendly choices: The food and drinks will primarily be local, organic, or fair-trade. All bottles will be reusable. Payment on site only with coupons, which can be purchased using either cash or payconiq. 🚮 Waste management: We’ll be separating and recycling residual waste to reduce landfill use. ♻️ Reusable materials: Cutlery, plates, and glasses will be reusable, and we’ll avoid single-use decorations. We’re also reducing plastic significantly. 🏆 Sustainable prizes: Even the prizes will follow eco-friendly guidelines, respecting our waste policy. Getting to the venue 🚍 The Centre Barblé in Strassen is perfectly accessible by public transport. AVL buses (routes 8, 11, and 16) and RGTR buses (routes 802, 811, 812, and 824) stop within 100 meters of the venue (Bus Stop: Strassen, Barblé). For more information, visit mobiliteit.lu. 🚴‍♂️ Additionally, there is a “Vél’oh!” bike-sharing station (station no. 70) right in front of the hall, as well as plenty of bicycle parking. 🚗👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If you're driving, we encourage carpooling, to reduce traffic and parking limitations.
